Thin rods: If you wish to have intricate designs for your railings, you can use thin rods. This can be made from rods of 5 mm diameter and even less to give you the desired art form with railings. You can also customize your railings with such thin rods. The rods can be circular, square, or rectangular. Sometimes even star shapes are available. These shapes can be used to your advantage for getting the desired graphic shape to your railings.
